The gap
Asphalt density, shrinking canopy, and climate change make urban districts hotter every summer. Existing tools visualise temperature; none of them say what to do about it, where, or in what order.
The solution
GreenTrigger scores every district for heat risk and converts the score into a concrete greening action plan: detect, analyse, prioritise, recommend, report, improve.

The one-day build
The complete concept uses street sensors and satellite imagery. On hackathon day those are replaced entirely by a bundled mock dataset of 8 to 10 districts, and the recommendation engine is honest rule-based logic: score bands map to tree counts and shade actions.
The 3-minute pitch
Why it wins
| Feasibility | Strictly mock-data with rule-based recommendations; ambitious vision, honest demo. |
|---|---|
| Impact | Directs municipal greening budgets to maximum-impact zones; heat kills, shade is policy. |
| User-friendliness | A colour-coded map plus plain-language actions; two modes, citizen and city hall. |
